Health Aid Hikkaduwa is run by Dr. Dinesh Yapa, and I was treated by Dr. Yahan. I went to see Dr. Yahan because of a severe infection. After I called, he was at the clinic in under 10 minutes. The consultation was outstanding; he asked detailed questions and promptly consulted with another specialist to eliminate other potential causes. He then prescribed medication and provided me with clear, step-by-step instructions for my recovery. I received a proper invoice along with a well-organized medication plan, and the cost was very reasonable. Even after my visit, he followed up on my health via WhatsApp. Truly, this is the best care you could hope for in a tough situation—very straightforward and exactly what I needed. I would give it 10 stars if that were possible. As a side note, just a short distance away is IMC Med Center. I also reached out to them for a basic blood test, but the experience was quite concerning. It seemed like they didn’t fully grasp what I was asking, yet they kept insisting, “Yes, yes, come to us.” During the call, there were loud construction noises in the background, including what sounded like an angle grinder, which made it feel more like a construction site than a medical facility. When I inquired about the price of the blood test, their responses were vague and unclear. I’m really glad I chose not to go to IMC. Based on my experience, their communication felt unprofessional and odd. I would highly recommend Health Aid Hikkaduwa over IMC and would personally steer clear of IMC altogether.

After testing positive for Covid-19, I was quite anxious about what the future held. Health Aid Hikkaduwa provided me with invaluable assistance throughout the whole experience. They directed me to an excellent quarantine hotel where the staff were exceptionally welcoming. A doctor visited me three times each day to ensure I was well cared for. They also handled all the transportation and paperwork on my behalf. What more could I possibly want? Given the current challenging times, having such dedicated professionals by my side was incredibly reassuring. I wholeheartedly recommend their services. Thank you once more!
