Yesterday (07.01.2026), I visited Citizen Hospital Walana around 9 a.m. to provide a blood sample for a full blood count report. They assured me that I could collect the report by 4:30 p.m. since I had a doctor appointment at 6 p.m. at Asiri Surgical Kirimandala Mw. However, when I returned to Citizen Hospital at 4:45 p.m., the report was still not ready, and the staff seemed completely unaware until I inquired about it. It appeared that they only began processing my report after my arrival, showing a lack of responsibility to complete tasks on time. This was extremely disappointing. I left, insisting that I needed the report ready in 30 minutes. When I called for an update, their hotline was switched off. Eventually, after reaching out via their landline, I received my report at 5:41 p.m. through WhatsApp. A full blood count is typically available within an hour at government hospitals. I'm not sure if they are using outdated technology or if there was another issue, but they need to take their responsibilities seriously, as such mistakes cause unnecessary stress and waste patients' time. I came here for the first time due to its proximity to my home, but it will definitely be my last visit. I do want to express my gratitude to Ms. Anuththara for ultimately sending the report.

Just arrived in Panadura and I’ve experienced outstanding service at reasonable prices, all thanks to a very friendly OPD doctor. There are also good parking options and X-ray services offered until 9 PM. I highly recommend this place. I anticipate more facilities will open soon. Good luck!

I visited the OPD at the hospital and found the lobby to be a very welcoming space. I was quickly directed to the doctor, who responded promptly and had a friendly conversation with me before sending me to the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff were also friendly and greeted me with smiles. The bill was quite reasonable. Most importantly, after two doses, I was back to feeling normal. Thank you very much, Doctor!

I’ve taken my elderly father to this hospital twice for ECG and outpatient services, and on both visits, the care was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, supportive, and compassionate. The pharmacy team and cashier were also very polite and helpful. The hospital has a roomy and comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Prabath Liyanage is very professional; he clearly explains the patient’s condition and takes swift action to ensure the best treatment. So far, I haven’t encountered such remarkable service at any other private hospital in Panadura. Please keep up this excellent standard of care.
