    Comprehensive Dental Services Available

This is a dental institute where you can access a wide range of services including fillings, cleanings, and extractions, under the Department of Oral Health. If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend arriving at 6 AM to get a number; I arrived later on my first visit. They operate Monday through Saturday, with Sundays closed and Saturday being a half-day. Individual experiences can vary depending on the person and the staff member you encounter. Like many government institutions, there are a few difficult individuals, but there are also many professionals. Don’t forget that wearing a mask is essential here.

    Decline in Organization and Service

I've been visiting this spot since last year, and back then, it felt well-organized with a professional and efficient team. However, during my visit last week, I noticed a shocking shift. There were multiple instances of favoritism shown towards certain staff members who were allowing outside guests to skip the line, especially on the children's side. The other side was no better, as I also saw the Officer in charge behaving similarly. Now, the place feels chaotic and disorganized compared to what it used to be.

    Disappointing Experience at Dental Hospital

I visited this hospital early this morning and found a long queue of patients. I needed a number to join that line, so I thought I’d ask at the entrance counter. Suddenly, a security guard approached me and asked what I needed. I explained that I wanted a number. He directed me to the queue, but I noticed that all the other patients were receiving their numbers. I went back to the counter to inquire again, and a nurse asked me what I needed. I told her I needed a number to enter the queue, but she informed me that all the numbers for the day were gone and advised me to come back next Wednesday. I mentioned that a security guard told me to join the queue, and then the nurse consulted two other security guards about it. They denied having given such advice. I repeatedly tried to get a number but was told to return next week. This is how they handle these situations? I was truly disappointed with this government dental hospital. Patients shouldn't be treated this way.

    Frustrating dental experience

If anyone is curious about the difference between paid services and free ones, this place is a good example. I visited around 5:30 a.m. due to a mild toothache, hoping to address it before it worsened. When I finally saw the doctor, whose name I didn't catch, he seemed rushed. It didn't appear to be due to a crowd, as I explained my situation twice, but he concluded that everything was fine. I asked if I could at least get my dental plaque cleaned, but he said there was nothing to clear. After waiting early in the morning, I left empty-handed. Many people come here for various reasons, whether minor or serious, and we arrive early to seek help with our dental issues; at the very least, that deserves some respect. I spoke to a staff member about my concerns, and although I don’t know her name either, she assisted me in consulting another doctor. I had to wait for the last patient in line, and there were over a hundred patients that day, while I was at 35th place. The next doctor was somewhat aggressive initially, but eventually she understood the issue. She recommended an X-ray, which revealed that my wisdom tooth was growing under the gums and pressing against my other teeth, causing the pain. She advised me to have it removed quickly. I finally left around 2 p.m. after a very hectic experience. If anyone has a mild issue, I suggest you communicate it as a serious one to avoid disappointment. I understand that some patients have more serious problems, and I'm willing to yield my spot for emergencies, but this situation felt unfair. I'm not saying this is a bad place, but my experience with some doctors was less than satisfactory.

    Great Experience with Friendly Staff

This was my first visit, and I had a fantastic experience. Everything was really well organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My father and I received top-notch service for tooth extraction and filling, and we genuinely appreciated the care and professionalism we were shown. As a government service, they did an excellent job.

    Great value for dental implants

The service here is outstanding. I had my dental implant done at a very affordable price. In the private sector, one implant costs around 140,000, but here, I was able to get two implants for that same price.

    Disappointing dental experience

I queued up around 5 PM and received number 18. The security staff at the entrance were very friendly. After waiting until about 8 or 9 PM, I was seen by an older dentist who seemed to be trying hard to look youthful with all his makeup. I explained that the tooth where I had a cavity filled was now hurting, and without saying a word, he began to dig into it. He ended up ruining my tooth completely and told me to go to a private hospital for an X-ray and come back. When I returned, he acted surprised, saying, 'Oh, it was a cavity filled, right? Why didn’t you tell me earlier?' I was furious and raised my voice, which caused quite a scene, and I felt like the crowd was about to throw me out. I got scared and left, even considering filing a complaint with the police. The government service is lacking; they are attentive but not effective. I don't have experience with government hospitals, but I urge you not to see an older dentist. If assigned one, request a change immediately, and look for a younger dentist who has better vision and hearing. Please.

    Frustrating dental hospital experience

My experience at the dental hospital was absolutely infuriating. I arrived at 4:40 AM and received my number by 6:00 AM, but I was left waiting for hours until the doctor finally showed up at 8:00 AM. My turn didn’t come until 8:35 AM. After my appointment, I went to the reception hoping to get a treatment date. Instead, the nurse handed me a card for a lecture scheduled 1.5 months later, clearly stating that this date was NOT for the actual treatment. They informed me that I would only receive the real treatment date if I attended the lecture. So now I have to wait a month and a half while my dental issues worsen, knowing that this lecture isn’t even the day I’ll get treated. This situation is utterly unreasonable and demonstrates a total disregard for patients needing urgent dental care. The long lines, delayed doctors, meaningless appointments, and a flawed system waste people’s time while their health deteriorates. It’s completely unacceptable. They need to improve their services.

Exceptional Service at a Government Hospital

I visited this place for my child's treatments. The service was outstanding, compassionate, and efficient—truly surprising for a government hospital. A big shoutout to the fantastic staff!
