Butter Boutique is a fantastic choice for a relaxed evening with friends. While it feels more like a café than a traditional restaurant, it still provides an excellent atmosphere to gather, converse, and enjoy some drinks and snacks.

I saw several issues at this restaurant. The chairs are badly stained and look like they haven't been replaced in a long time. Moreover, I witnessed a staff member spraying cleaning solution directly onto a table while leaving napkins in their holders, inadvertently contaminating items that are supposed to be for customers.

This cafe is really lovely, offering both great food and service. It did get a little busy during lunchtime, but overall, it stands out as one of the best cafes around.

If you love matcha, this is the ultimate spot in Colombo to truly indulge (and they offer takeaway cans for their drinks, which is extremely handy). Besides that, the standout feature here is definitely the cakes, especially the Tres Leches.
