    Pleasant stay with minor navigation issue

    We had an overall enjoyable stay, and everything was quite nice. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-kept. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable during our visit, which we appreciated. The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and satisfying—a lovely way to kick off the day. One minor suggestion: a larger name sign outside the property would be beneficial. We, along with a few others, found it a bit challenging to locate the place and ended up wandering around. Aside from that, everything was great, and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend it.

    Decent experience, but some issues

    You definitely get what you pay for, though I've had better experiences for the same cost. There were no towels available when I arrived. When I tried to order lunch from the menu, I was informed I'd have to wait two hours while they went to buy the ingredients for my meal. Additionally, the room was quite noisy due to the staff playing cricket above us. I'd suggest continuing your search and not stopping here.

    Rooms good, but service lacking

    Our group of fifteen Indians stayed here for one night, and the only positive aspect of this hotel was the rooms. There’s no lift and the steep steps make it unsuitable for anyone with knee issues. The service was quite poor; the staff didn’t show up in the morning to help us check out, so we had to carry our own luggage to the vehicle. We ended up leaving without settling the remaining payment, planning to do a bank transfer instead. However, a hotel staff member named Riskan called us wanting the balance sent to his personal account. If you're considering staying here, it should be your last option.

    Friendly staff and great value

    The staff were welcoming, and the rooms were nice, offering excellent value for the price. Keep in mind that the hotel is situated among other hotels, so the view isn’t very scenic. On the plus side, you can reach nearby attractions in just a 10-minute walk.

    I had a fantastic experience at Queens Mount Glen Heights in Nuwara Eliya. The setting is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and providing a serene environment that's just right for unwinding. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and well-kept, equipped with everything we needed for a delightful stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel at home during our time there. In summary, Queens Mount Glen is an excellent choice if you're planning a visit to Nuwara Eliya. I would certainly recommend it to anyone in search of a tranquil and comfortable retreat, and I would be more than happy to return myself.

    Consistently Good Family Hotel

    I've booked this hotel several times over the past two years for family vacations. The staff is very accommodating and always ready to help with any requests. The rooms are sufficiently clean, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. It's the best option in town if you're looking for an affordable stay in Nuwara Eliya.

    Great stay with minor drawbacks

    I spent two nights here and found the location to be fantastic, just a short walk from the center. While maps may suggest a confusing route, there's actually a quicker and simpler way. The building is modern, featuring spacious rooms and bathrooms. Everything was tidy and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There are a few areas for improvement: the access road is pretty steep, which can be tricky when you're carrying luggage. Also, there's no elevator, so getting to the upper floors by stairs can be exhausting, particularly on the 4th or 5th floor. Additionally, the rooms could benefit from some rugs and a few wall decorations to make them feel cozier. In summary, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend this place.

    We had a fantastic stay at QUEENS MOUNT GLEN HEIGHT... ♥️ The level of service from the staff was remarkable and made our visit truly unforgettable. Their hospitality was excellent.     Disappointing stay with several issues

    I had a very disappointing stay that certainly didn't justify the money spent. I reserved a Deluxe Double Room, but it fell short of what I expected. Several problems marred our experience: * The TV was inoperative, and when we asked the reception, we were told that the connection wasn’t yet set up. The remote was found under the bed, which points to poor housekeeping. * The hot water system initially didn’t work and needed repairs after we reported it. * The receptionist seemed more interested in his phone than in attending to guests' needs. * Only two pillows were provided, which is below what I’ve encountered even in basic hotels. * We experienced a power outage while preparing for a wedding, and we learned that the hotel lacks a generator. * Upon returning from the wedding, our request to use a room briefly to change was denied. Instead, we had to use the restroom in the front office, which was unclean and lacked essential facilities. Traveling with our 3-year-old, we anticipated a comfortable and relaxing stay, but the entire experience was stressful and didn’t offer good value for our money. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback to heart and enhances both the amenities and customer service for future guests.
