    Terrible experience with staff

    This place was the worst. I arrived for an emergency at around 3:45 PM, and the security guard lounging outside directed me to go in. However, when I knocked, a sleepy Tamil nurse peeked out and informed me that it wasn't clean and refused to let me in. She told me to sit with the security guard instead. I insisted on being let in since it was almost 4 PM, but she just closed the door on me again, only to reopen it to reiterate that she couldn't let me in until 4 PM. I was left outside in the blazing heat. I would advise against visiting this place unless you want to encounter this awful, sleeping Tamil nurse!

    Amazing veneers for a confident smile

    I truly love my whiter, brighter smile – it really boosts my confidence when people compliment me on it. I had my veneers done at the Dental Implant Center, and the results are incredible. The clinic is top-notch, and the staff along with the dentist were very kind to me. A big thank you to everyone at the practice.

    Excellent Dental Care in Sri Lanka

    As a UK citizen on holiday in Sri Lanka, I wanted to get some cosmetic treatment since it would be much more affordable than back home. The dentist was incredibly patient and took the time to go over my options and create a treatment plan together. The actual treatment was quick and efficient, and everything went according to our plan. The dentist has a keen eye for aesthetics and I ended up with results that exceeded my expectations. Even when there was a delay with a crown from another lab, the dentist and his team stayed late and drove to retrieve it so I could make my flight on time. I also want to highlight that the dental nurses were very friendly, which helped me feel comfortable during the procedure. I recommend calling ahead to confirm your appointment. I will definitely return here every time I visit Sri Lanka.

    Disappointing dental experience

    I was quite unhappy with the cleaning I received. I usually go to another dentist who does excellent work, but since she’s no longer practicing due to COVID, I decided to try this place. Before making the appointment, I called to confirm the cost for the cleaning, which was quoted at 3000 rupees. That sounded good, so I booked the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor was friendly and discussed other treatments I was considering, but unfortunately, the cleaning itself was not up to my standards. It felt rushed and was painful. The nurse kept jabbing the suction tool into my mouth, hitting the underside of my tongue, which was uncomfortable. I hoped it would be alright, but after examining my teeth at home, I was very disappointed. To add to my frustration, when I went to pay by card, the receptionist asked if I had 500 rupees. I was confused and inquired why, and she explained it was for ‘appointment charges.’ I thought the total was 3000 for the appointment, and she confirmed that, but then added that it was actually 3500. I had some cash but preferred to pay by card, so I asked if she could charge the full amount to my card. She told me she could only charge 3000 on the card and needed the 500 in cash. I’ve never encountered something like this before. If the additional charge is valid, they should be able to process it on the card. It’s odd. When I mentioned that I was told the cleaning was 3000 over the phone, she simply replied, ‘sorry ma’am.’ It’s not just about the money; it’s about transparency. I prefer to use my card these days due to COVID and only handle cash when absolutely necessary. Overall, combined with the unsatisfactory cleaning, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

    Excellent service for urgent dental care

    I reached out to this clinic to schedule an appointment, but was initially told they couldn't see me because they were fully booked. I then explained to the receptionist that I was on a short vacation in Sri Lanka and needed urgent help without a prior appointment. A few minutes later, I received a call back letting me know they could fit me in between existing appointments due to the urgency of my situation. Their customer service is outstanding, and I was truly impressed. Dr. Ibrahim is a laid-back and straightforward guy, who provided professional advice for my aftercare and resolved my issues efficiently. I highly recommend this place, especially for anyone who doesn't have a referral for a dentist. Plus, their fees are incredibly reasonable. Thanks a lot, and best wishes from Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

    Avoid this place for dental work

    This doctor is a complete rip-off. Don't go to this place! He did a temporary filling when I needed a permanent one, and now I have to redo the filling all over again!!!

    Disappointing dental experience

    I had my braces put on here. We opted to pay in installments, and the doctor was attentive and caring during that time. However, once I completed the payments, his attitude shifted significantly. He became less thorough in checking my teeth and seemed rushed to finish my appointments. Then, on what felt like an arbitrary appointment day, he removed my braces without even notifying me, which I thought was premature. It seemed like he wanted to cut off my visits now that there wasn't any more money coming in. I would not recommend this place; there are better dental clinics available in Colombo.

    Disappointing dental experience

    My experience with this dentist was quite poor. I underwent a root canal and ended up with an infection. After several follow-up visits, the problem remained unresolved, forcing me to seek help from another dentist. My mother had the same issue with her root canal at this practice, also developing an infection. It felt like the dentist prioritized charging us for extra procedures and appointments over ensuring that the root canals were completed correctly from the start. He even proposed unnecessary additional work instead of tackling the core issue. I still experience slight pain, which should have been fully resolved following the root canal treatment, but he suggested more treatments, which I found both surprising and disappointing. The office staff were not particularly helpful or understanding regarding our situation. They seemed more interested in collecting payments for procedures rather than addressing our concerns and delivering proper care. I cannot recommend this dentist. He appears to lack the skills and knowledge to perform root canals effectively, and his focus seems to be on profit rather than providing quality patient care.

    Excellent Dental Experience in Colombo

    I visited The Dental & Implant Center in Colombo last month, and my experience with Dr. Inayathullah Ibrahim was outstanding. Dr. Ibrahim is incredibly kind, professional, and highly skilled. He took the time to explain my entire procedure in a way that was easy to understand, which helped me feel comfortable and confident. The treatment was carried out quickly and efficiently, with no time wasted. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordability — I really didn't expect such reasonable prices in Sri Lanka for this level of quality service. A big thank you goes out to the clinical staff as well. They were very professional, friendly, and treated every patient with care and respect. The overall service absolutely earns a five-star rating. If you're thinking of visiting, I suggest calling ahead to make an appointment. I wholeheartedly recommend and truly appreciate the exceptional service from this team.
