Overpriced and Disrespectful Experience
This place feels like a complete scam, and the staff seems aware of it. You pay upfront for a doctor's appointment, only to be met by a doctor who chuckles about the high costs of blood tests and talks about you in Sinhala, which I understand. The price for blood tests is more than a flight back home. I would advise foreigners to avoid this place and go to Asiri in Galle instead. *Update - response* Why would you assume I’m speaking for someone else? Is it because you don't think a foreigner can understand Sinhala after living here for ten years and being married? I’m not talking about the 2000 rupee consultation fee; I’m referring to the blood tests they almost ordered, which were nearly $500. That’s what they found so amusing. If this isn’t a joke or a scam, then why are your staff laughing and making light of it? If you don’t show respect to your patients, especially the foreign ones, it’s no wonder your staff don’t either.
