Exceptional cafe with great atmosphere

Delicious Western Meals in Ella

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and this was likely the best meal we've enjoyed in Ella to date. The pork tacos and beef burger were both fantastic, offering a taste of the West that's perfect if you need a break from Sri Lankan cuisine. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic Western Food Experience

This restaurant, managed by former Café Chill staff, may be slightly off the main path, but it’s the perfect choice if you're Western and craving something different from the usual Sri Lankan dishes. We were so impressed that we returned two days in a row. The pork tacos, pizza, homemade smoked pork sausage served with mashed potatoes, smoothies, croissant sandwiches, and the burger were all exceptional. They even offer ranch dressing, which they refer to as “mayonnaise sauce”—you know what I mean if you've been there. Make sure to visit for the great atmosphere, tasty food, and really friendly people. They truly excel at Western cuisine.

Our Favorite Spot in Ella

This place is amazing—our favorite in Ella! After two weeks of local cuisine with our three kids, we craved some familiar flavors. They offer a great variety of brunch and lunch options. Everything is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented! The place is impeccably clean, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is absolutely delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Exceptional homemade burger experience

Don't hesitate to check this place out. The burger was outstanding, and it was all homemade, including the bun. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. The staff is both friendly and attentive. To top it off, we were treated to a homemade banana-chocolate waffle upon request. I highly recommend this spot.

Fantastic Lunch Spot in Ella

My partner and I dined at Crefals twice for lunch during our stay in Ella, and both times the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I highly recommend checking it out while you're in Ella.
