Charming stay with fantastic food

We had a fantastic time here. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and inviting. The food was incredibly tasty and expertly prepared [10/10], just as we anticipated, with a great variety on the menu. The service was top-notch, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home during our stay. Everything was well coordinated, and the overall experience was truly delightful. A Memorable Stay at Nicollas Cottage

Our time at Nicollas Cottage was genuinely memorable and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Nestled in the hills with stunning views, the cottage provided an ideal backdrop for a reunion three decades in the making. Fourteen college friends came together for four amazing days, reminiscing, laughing, and reconnecting as if no time had passed at all. The tranquil environment and picturesque landscape added depth to each moment. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and exceptionally well-kept, allowing us to feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. What truly set this experience apart was the generous hospitality from Ruwan and Vasantha. Their warmth, attentiveness, and constant smiles made us feel like part of their family. No request was ever too much for them. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We requested traditional meals, and Ruwan exceeded our expectations. Every dish was crafted with care, using fresh ingredients, and each one took us back to comforting home-cooked flavors. A special shout-out to Shane, who handled our booking. From the start, he kept his promises and answered all our queries promptly, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Nicollas Cottage is more than just a place to stay; it’s where memories are created. Whether with family or a small group of friends, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect, and savor life. We departed with full hearts and wonderful memories. Highly recommended for families or small groups.

The ambiance is calm and inviting, making it an ideal escape from the daily grind. The bungalow is always spotless, well-kept, and thoughtfully arranged for guests. Each visit feels both cozy and familiar, yet still brings a refreshing change. The staff consistently provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring everything is perfect without being overbearing. I want to give a special shoutout to the caretakers, Ruwan and Wasantha, who were exceptional during my stay. Their service is remarkable — they are always willing to help, professional, and go the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and cared for. Another standout aspect of my stay was the food they serve — it’s simply delicious! Each meal is freshly prepared, bursting with flavor, and thoroughly enjoyable. Wonderful stay in Nuwara Eliya

Our stay was truly one of the best experiences. The staff were very polite and friendly, and we enjoyed our time in a cozy, peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. Frustrating Reservation Experience

They keep their reservation system active on booking.com, and after booking, they send a confirmation message. However, three days later, they requested that we change our dates or they would cancel our reservation due to being fully booked. This is incredibly irresponsible and frustrating. It messed up our plans and wasted our time. We should have gone with another option instead of trusting these untrustworthy individuals. Very disappointing service. I can't recommend them to anyone. The customer service is the worst, and it's not worth the money if this is how they manage reservations.
