Promising New Hotel with Great Hospitality

We recently enjoyed a stay at this new hotel, which already shows great potential. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making an effort to ensure we felt welcomed, including our toddler who received such warm treatment. The hotel is very well-maintained, featuring clean rooms and tidy surroundings. A highlight is the wonderful pool, complete with a spacious shallow area that's ideal for young children. Set within nature, the pool area provides a peaceful retreat, making it easy to forget that Ratnapura city is nearby. We ate at the hotel and sampled the hot buttered mushrooms, curry leaf cashews, and garlic greens, all of which were tasty and well-prepared. The upcoming pastry kitchen and expanded menu promise to further enhance the dining experience. Breakfast was delightful, especially with the beautifully arranged table by the pool. This hotel is becoming a great destination, whether you're visiting Ratnapura, seeking a relaxing getaway, or stopping overnight on your way to Colombo, Negombo Airport, or Udawalawe (which is what we did). With its welcoming hospitality, serene atmosphere, and delicious food, we highly recommend it and look forward to its continued success!

Friendly staff and delicious food

This is a fantastic place to stay. Priyantha and the team were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotless, and the food was tasty. We would certainly come back here again.

Great stay with minor food delay

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The room was sleek and impeccably clean. The pool area was also beautiful and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly attentive. We dined here too, and while the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the wait for our meals was rather lengthy.

Perfect Wedding Experience

We held our wedding at this hotel, and it was simply flawless. The staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Enjoyable stay with friendly staff

I had a brief visit and would definitely like to return. The kids were eager to swim in the pool, but we were short on time; we’ll make sure to plan for it next time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in every aspect. I highly recommend it.

Disappointing Experience Overall

The food was awful, and the service was lacking. Tables were left dirty for quite some time, and the staff seemed indifferent to their responsibilities. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience that I don’t think was worth the money.

Great stay with helpful service

I had a fantastic stay in Ratnapura. This hotel provides everything necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The service was outstanding, and the cleanliness was impressive. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, featuring a lovely garden and pool for relaxation. Bertrem, the hotel manager, was very accommodating in helping us organize a wonderful day exploring Ratnapura’s mines.

Comfortable stay with pleasant dining

I had a nice stay at the Grand Amanee. The room was tidy and decent, with no issues to note. The staff were approachable and accommodating throughout my visit — they truly went out of their way to help. The restaurant was a delightful surprise. The food was good, with a broad selection on the menu, and the quality was consistent. We enjoyed a lovely evening there filled with food and music, which was a great way to relax. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

Great service and nice food

The staff here are really nice. Manager Bertrem is a fantastic guy, always ready to assist with anything we need. The food is enjoyable. I have no complaints whatsoever.
