The food was awful, and the service was lacking. Tables were left dirty for quite some time, and the staff seemed indifferent to their responsibilities. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience that I don’t think was worth the money.

I had a fantastic stay in Ratnapura. This hotel provides everything necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The service was outstanding, and the cleanliness was impressive. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, featuring a lovely garden and pool for relaxation. Bertrem, the hotel manager, was very accommodating in helping us organize a wonderful day exploring Ratnapura’s mines.

I had a nice stay at the Grand Amanee. The room was tidy and decent, with no issues to note. The staff were approachable and accommodating throughout my visit — they truly went out of their way to help. The restaurant was a delightful surprise. The food was good, with a broad selection on the menu, and the quality was consistent. We enjoyed a lovely evening there filled with food and music, which was a great way to relax. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

The staff here are really nice. Manager Bertrem is a fantastic guy, always ready to assist with anything we need. The food is enjoyable. I have no complaints whatsoever.

As someone from India, I spent two days at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. I would give it more than 10/10 for its cleanliness and comfort. It's truly one of the best hotels I've visited in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to assist. The food was tasty, and the overall service was top-notch. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Ratnapura. It's a wonderful place to stay, providing comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality.

I typically avoid leaving negative feedback, but I think it's important to share our experience. We selected Grand Amanee to celebrate one of the most significant days of our lives, hoping for a professional handling of the event. Sadly, the experience was quite disappointing and left us feeling more stressed than joyful. During the event, we encountered multiple serious issues, and when we voiced our concerns afterward, it seemed like they weren't taken seriously. The management's response to our complaints only added to our frustration, and we walked away feeling utterly let down. This special day is something we can never relive, which is the hardest part. Given our experience, I cannot recommend Grand Amanee for weddings, engagements, or other important celebrations. I truly hope that the management will take customer feedback to heart and enhance their service to prevent other families from experiencing what we went through.
