I visited for a meal but ended up only having a drink. The cleanliness was lacking; the area behind the coffee counter was very dirty, and there were cigarette butts all over the place (as shown in the image). The overall vibe was not pleasant, making me not want to stay. I’m sorry, but the cleanliness and ambiance really need improvement.

This local café offers a nice atmosphere with ample space for both working and relaxing. I truly enjoyed my flat white—it was expertly crafted and arguably the best part of my experience. The breakfast was satisfactory but not particularly memorable. The waffles, however, were a bit too plain for my liking. I would have preferred them to be sweeter, more savory, or even crispier to enhance their flavor. The café appears to still be undergoing some renovations, which leaves certain areas looking a bit unfinished and worn. Given its proximity to the Department of Foreign Affairs, a place where many international visitors might stop by, the overall look could certainly use some improvement. On a brighter note, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing great service that made my visit more pleasant.

A few months back, this was one of my favorite spots to work and catch up with friends. Unfortunately, it now has an abandoned vibe, and I worry they might be closing down. The food remains tasty, and the staff are just as friendly as they’ve always been. They no longer seem to offer pizzas in the evenings. Also, it looks like they aren’t as accommodating with BYOB like they used to be, though they did kindly allow us to bring a bottle of wine this time.
