Professional dental care in Sri Lanka

Don't let the clinic's appearance mislead you. While it's not up to Western standards, which is understandable given that we're in Sri Lanka, it was clean. I had a total cleaning done, and I was impressed by Dr. Kumari and her staff for their professionalism and kindness. I was truly happy with the results and would return without hesitation if given the chance. Thank you, Dr. Kumari!

Terrible Experience with Unprofessional Dentist

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this dentist, who I found to be both irresponsible and rude. She seems to put on an act of being a good doctor for wealthy clients, but my experience says otherwise. On August 27, my tooth was extracted by Kumari. It was a struggle; she couldn't remove my tooth in one go and it took her five attempts. This felt very unprofessional, and the day after the extraction, my jaw became swollen. When I reached out to her for advice, she responded in a rude tone, asking what she could do for me and insisting that I refer to her as 'doctor' instead of using 'you'. It seems like she’s more interested in money and targeting affluent clients rather than providing proper care. I ended up getting medication for my swollen face from my personal doctor, M B B S Sajhaan, who informed me that my swollen face was due to the unprofessional manner in which the tooth was removed (five attempts in my case). I cannot recommend her to anyone. I hope she learns to treat all her clients with kindness and care in the future.
