Accommodation Issues Despite Good Staff
I had a really disappointing experience with the accommodation. The first room (the first five pictures) was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The worst part was finding termites at the head of the bed, which kept us up at night with noise, and in the morning, we even discovered termite droppings on our pillows! After some insistence, we were moved to another room for our second night. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. While the bathroom was somewhat cleaner, there was a significant fungus growing in the corner due to a leak from the rain. To make matters worse, on a rainy evening, water started seeping through the wall. Within just 25 minutes, our passport and electronic devices on the nightstand were soaked (as shown in the pictures), and mold was clearly visible on the damp walls. This wasn’t just unpleasant; it posed a health risk. After voicing our complaints, they initially offered us a 10% discount on the room, which felt like a joke. In the end, they settled on a 15% discount. Still a joke, but that was all they were willing to provide. To me, these rooms felt like a scam. The only positives were the pool and the staff, which were the silver lining in an otherwise frustrating stay.
