Friendly staff and nice amenities

The venue was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The room had a functioning AC, hot water, and a mosquito net—everything you might need. They even offered a place for my driver to sleep and provided free parking. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Charming Stay in Sri Lanka

As a young couple traveling through Sri Lanka, we enjoyed a night at this place. The staff was delightful and incredibly attentive, while the location couldn't be better. Our room was spacious and well-kept. Dining in the garden was a lovely experience. We definitely recommend this spot for a night or longer if you're exploring the area.

Amazing stay in Sri Lanka

In my opinion, this is the top spot in Sri Lanka. The rooms are fantastic, the prices are reasonable, the breakfast is great, and it's peaceful, surrounded by a lovely garden. The manager is the best host we've encountered on our trip and we have no regrets about choosing to stay here. He truly made us feel at home.

Friendly service, outdated rooms

This hotel is located in a great area of Anuradhapura. It features a lovely garden and atrium, but the rooms could really use an update; some lamps were not functioning, the shower felt cramped, and the curtain rails were broken. On the bright side, the air conditioning worked and the bed was comfortable, which I suppose is the most crucial part. The owner is incredibly friendly and courteous. We had dinner here, which was decent, and breakfast was quite basic (toast, tea, jam, omelet, and fruits). It was also nice that we could leave our bags in the room while we visited the temples in the morning. The service truly enhances the experience at this place.

Friendly staff and great food

I had a fantastic experience at the Milano tourist rest. The staff were both friendly and professional, and I was especially impressed by Miss Wendy, the hotel manager and receptionist. Her warm smile and welcoming demeanor were very reassuring for someone traveling alone. The food was also quite good; I especially enjoyed the hoppers for breakfast.

Comfortable stay with great service

The room was simple in design, but it served its purpose well. There’s a nice balcony and terrace where you can relax in the evenings. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. The city center is just a short Tuktuk ride away, and it's also easily walkable. The receptionists were very accommodating, offering excellent suggestions for dining and activities to explore the town. Additionally, when our room's AC wasn’t working, one of the receptionists resolved the issue in only five minutes!

A delightful hotel experience

My experience at this hotel was truly enjoyable! The place was spotless, and the staff was particularly kind, accommodating, and efficient. The food was great, and the customer service was top-notch. Parking Issues Diminish Experience

I was quite let down by my stay at this hotel. There was no adequate parking available, which is something most guests look for when making a reservation. Upon arrival, I was instructed to park my car on the street outside the hotel. This is very inconvenient and doesn’t feel secure at all. As a guest, I shouldn’t have to worry about my vehicle's safety during my visit. Parking is a fundamental amenity, especially when paying for accommodation. The hotel should clearly communicate the lack of parking options before taking reservations. All in all, this situation caused unnecessary stress and negatively impacted my experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a car.

Disappointing Stay Due to Construction

Our experience here was far from acceptable. The ongoing construction was quite disruptive, and on top of that, the staff repeatedly knocked on our door while we were trying to sleep, just to ask us to move construction vehicles inside. They showed a lack of discipline and consideration for our privacy, and when we raised our concerns, they tried to shift the blame onto us. The construction made it nearly impossible to relax or even stay in our room during the day, and we were never informed about it at the time of booking. I strongly advise against staying here. I was also very disappointed with the absence of basic amenities. Our room lacked bathroom and bed carpets, there were no water bottles available, and the hot water in the shower was unreliable. Given the price we paid, these are fundamental necessities that should not be overlooked.
