I had a really bad experience at Miridiya Hotel. It's one of the worst hotels in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. While the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms were unacceptable and practically unusable. All the bathrooms are quite small, and more than six rooms had issues with the shower.

The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed. Having an outdoor bathroom was a unique touch, but watch out for the numerous mosquitoes. The property is stunning and located right by the lake, where I enjoyed watching fireflies in the evening. It has a lovely outdoor restaurant as well.

This hotel is situated by the lake, offering a lovely view! It’s perfect for an evening walk. The staff is attentive, particularly Mr. Niroshan, who was our waiter at the restaurant. He was a friendly guy and took great care of us.

The hotel is really nice, but the outdoor toilet has its downsides, as it attracts ants, mosquitoes, and various insects. This means that when you open the door to use the toilet, some of those insects can get into the room. On a positive note, the staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help.
