It would be very beneficial to have a few clearly visible signs along the route when approaching your hotel from the main road. This would greatly help first-time visitors, especially those arriving at night, as navigation apps like Google Maps can sometimes give misleading directions. Charming Stay at Malwathu Oya

Malwathu Oya Forest Garden stands out as one of the top places to stay in Anuradhapura. Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, it sits right beside the Malwatu Oya river, where you can even take a dip. This charming hotel is managed by a young couple who run it very efficiently. There are five well-equipped and spotless rooms, and the garden is beautifully kept. You can often hear the call of peacocks, and they can sometimes be spotted nearby. The sounds of various birds enhance the atmosphere as well. Additionally, they serve tasty food at reasonable prices. Their service is exceptional. I highly recommend visiting to enjoy the experience. ❤️

Well-kept hotel in peaceful location

A young couple runs this property, maintaining it in outstandingly clean and organized condition. The rooms are kept in good shape, and the tranquil environment makes it an excellent spot to unwind and enjoy your stay. If you're thinking of visiting during the rainy season, it's wise to check with the hotel in advance, as access roads might sometimes be obstructed due to flooding when you need to cross the Malwathu Oya.
