The location of this place is just a stone's throw from Puja Nagaraya (පූජා නගරය) and close to the Atamasthanaya (අටමස්ථාන). From the hotel's rooftop, you can enjoy a clear view of the Abhayagiriya (අභයගිරි) Stupa and the lovely paddy fields. The host is incredibly friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Room rates are quite reasonable, and there's even the option to prepare kiripindu (කිරිපිඩු) here.

Our stay in Sri Lanka was likely the best of our two-week trip. The room we occupied was spacious, spotless, and even featured a small balcony with a view of the ancient pagoda—just what we needed. The innkeeper was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us, even preparing a delicious breakfast for our early morning departure. Overall, the value for the comfort provided was excellent. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The rooms are decent, but the food prices are absolutely ridiculous. We ordered 4kg of "dinner and breakfast" for 13 people, along with some extra snacks, and it ended up costing us 33,000. That's just outrageous... there's no set menu here, and it's really excessive.

Tucked away in a peaceful spot surrounded by lush paddy fields, this property provides a genuinely relaxing getaway. The rooftop balcony offers stunning views of the nearby pagoda, particularly beautiful during sunrise and sunset. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and made a delicious breakfast upon request. The staff went the extra mile to assist our elderly parents, enhancing our stay significantly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for relaxation and warm hospitality.

The only highlight here is the location. I asked for a double room, but the amenities provided were not worth the price. The breakfast charge felt very misleading. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had a fantastic experience at Green Shield Resort. This place is clean, safe, and quite comfortable. One of the highlights of my visit was the unique opportunity to plank lotus flowers. Its location is also very convenient, being near the main attractions in Anuradhapura. I highly recommend it for a tranquil and enjoyable stay!
