The restaurant offers stunning views of the river and the option to dine on the pier. Set in a charming old-style house, the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, and the staff were attentive. It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the beach. However, there was a communication issue. The managers and staff often said 'okay' even when they didn’t fully grasp our requests.

I ended up in a room with no view at all. There was no river, no garden, and the only window was in the corridor. The breakfast didn't meet my expectations either. If you decide to book a room here, make sure to choose one that offers a view. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, right by the river and close to downtown.

This charming, quiet family-operated hotel features very accommodating staff. The building has a rustic, older style, but my room was clean and the bed comfortable, complete with a mosquito net. I enjoyed the nice garden where a large water monitor visited while I was having breakfast. Both the dinner and breakfast were enjoyable, offering great value for the price.
