Fort Windshire transports you to the Medieval era. The views from the rooms are breathtaking. The staff are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to assist. The food is wonderfully delicious with generous portions; you’ll never leave the table feeling hungry. I truly enjoyed the experience.

Thusharia and Romya greeted us warmly, and the staff was really friendly. Our room offered stunning mountain views, and the breakfast had generous portions with plenty of options. The only drawback was the access to the hotel; the street is quite steep and narrow, plus there are several steps leading up to the entrance. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

For a truly picturesque getaway, I highly recommend this spot. It boasts amazing views and a medieval vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and deliver excellent service, with both the room and bathroom being exceptionally clean. We stayed in the king suite, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Hakgala, Piduruthalagala, and the Namunukula range.

Visiting here feels like stepping back into the era of King Arthur! The decor creates a delightful atmosphere. We arrived during a heavy downpour, so we mostly stayed indoors. The staff's hospitality, especially from the chef, was outstanding. The food was quite good! It is a bit isolated, as there's nothing to explore outside the hotel, but they do offer driver accommodations.

The rooms are spacious, tidy, and offer stunning views of Haggala mountain and the nearby hills. The staff are professional and very helpful, and the food is fantastic! It's a great option for families, featuring a small play area for kids, and there's parking available on-site. They also offer shuttle services for an additional fee since it's a bit outside of town. For those with a driver or guide, chauffeur accommodations are also an option! I enjoyed every moment of my stay and will definitely return! Overall, I highly recommend it as a must-visit!

We spent two nights here and were impressed by the excellent service from the friendly staff, especially the chef who welcomed us upon our late arrival due to unexpected circumstances and road conditions. His genuine care was evident throughout our stay until we checked out. Our room was both spacious and clean, and the lobby exuded a charming British vibe. The food was consistently good. While the hotel is located a bit outside of town, we appreciated the peaceful and calm atmosphere. Just a note about the access road to the hotel; it's small, but suitable for all vehicle types.
