The place could use a few minor improvements. Mr. Palitha, the hotel manager, is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. Enhancing the room standards would really elevate this location. There's also parking available for one small car and one sedan.

During my stay at Hill Paradise, I was quite let down. The overall cleanliness was subpar, with dirty floors, neglected areas, and a noticeable lack of upkeep throughout the property. It seemed like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Expecting basic hygiene is reasonable, but even that was lacking here, making my stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend Hill Paradise to anyone seeking a clean and pleasant accommodation.

I spent a night at Hill Paradise, which my tour group booked. My room was quite spacious, featuring two single beds and a large, modern bathroom. I must say, the food prepared by the chef was outstanding! I really wish I could have enjoyed more than just dinner and breakfast from him. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive, definitely deserving of 5 stars! However, I would recommend noting that the rooms are located on the same floor as the kitchen, so you can hear the pots and pans along with the kitchen staff during the night and in the morning. Additionally, the lobby areas could use a thorough cleaning.

We discovered bedbugs and a centipede in our bed. Additionally, there was no running water in the evening. The overall appearance and feel of the place is dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place; it's best to save your money!!

The rooms were filthy, with dirty bedsheets and bathrooms. I paid 24,000 for two rooms, and they were the most repulsive I've ever encountered. I highly recommend steering clear of this awful place.

Please, avoid this hotel! It’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The bed had bedbugs and other pests like cockroaches. The whole environment was filthy and had a terrible smell, as if they never clean the rooms! During our stay, there was no water, soap, or toilet paper available. Seriously, don’t even consider coming here!

This place fell short of expectations. It was nothing like the pictures. The room was dirty and not well-maintained, leading to a disappointing experience overall. The cleanliness standards were lacking, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We reserved rooms at this property three weeks before our trip and paid the necessary deposit. Yet, when we arrived, we were told—without any prior warning—that there were no rooms available due to maintenance work. The staff handled the situation poorly, offering no alternative solutions or help. Consequently, we found ourselves stranded in Nuwara Eliya during heavy rain, unable to secure accommodation elsewhere since most places were fully booked. This made for a very unpleasant experience, especially with the chilly weather and lack of shelter. Such carelessness and lack of responsibility are simply unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place to others, and I urge travelers to think twice before making reservations here.

I had one of the worst experiences during my stay. The price was quite steep, yet the villa was far from satisfactory. The bathroom toilet was in poor shape, the heater didn't function, and the lighting was very dim. At times, there was no water available at all. The basic amenities were not properly maintained. Additionally, the bed was broken and poorly repaired, making it uncomfortable and giving off a cheap vibe. For what we paid, this level of quality is unacceptable. When I raised these issues, the manager reacted in a rude and aggressive manner. He bluntly told us, "This is how it will be. Adjust yourself. If you complain too much, we won't even let you leave the villa." Such threatening remarks to customers are completely out of line. Instead of addressing the problems, he was dismissive and took no accountability. After complaining, no repairs were made. There was a lack of proper service, professionalism, and respect for guests. It was a very disappointing experience. If you're considering staying here, I advise you to think twice and avoid the manager's rude behavior. Totally not worth the money and definitely not recommended.

The rooms look nice in the pictures, but my experience was quite poor. They had an unpleasant odor, and the kitchen was not hygienic at all. If cleanliness is a priority for you, this is not the place to choose, and it's definitely not worth the price. After I paid my deposit, the owner refused to help and even hung up on me. I ended up losing $140 as a result.
