Concerns Over Therapist Qualifications

I'm noticing a significant number of underqualified therapists on this platform, and they’re charging rates comparable to PhD professionals. It’s troubling to see individuals with just a bachelor's degree referring to themselves as psychologists while claiming expertise in areas where they lack proper training and supervision. Additionally, their social media presence seems to be filled with insincere reviews (not from actual clients) and fake followers on Instagram, which I find quite unsettling as a mental health professional and an anti-capitalist. I want to clarify that this isn’t a critique of the genuine professionals also on this platform who do offer valuable services, but a mental health platform should prioritize authenticity, accessibility, and integrity.
