My husband and I have just come back from a fantastic 15 night trip to Sri Lanka. We were put in touch with Ceylon Empire by a Sri Lankan friend of ours who assured us that we would be well looked after and how right he was. Our agent Senuri listened to what we were after and put together a bespoke package covering all the areas that we were interested in visiting and gave us excellent advice as to a couple of other areas we should visit. She booked all of the hotels all of which were excellent. We did not prebook any trips but booked as we went along to allow us the freedom to change our minds. From our guide Chamara picking us up at the airport to dropping us back to the airport I can only say we could not have been blessed with a better driver. His calm driving made the somewhat chaotic Sri Lankan traffic seem safe , his knowledge of local restaurants gave us some memorable experiences, his suggestions of what we might like to do proved invaluable and all in all his input was the icing on the cake. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country with so many different aspects to going on safari, visiting cultural monuments and temples, seeing the tea plantations and ending up on the beach and I would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to go to Ceylon Empire.
