The check-in process was prompt, and the doctor was extremely attentive. He communicated in excellent English, delivered a swift diagnosis, and prescribed medication right away. Every staff member was kind and professional.

My experience at Lakeside Hospital was very disappointing. I took my mom there for a finger injury, and a nurse quickly assessed it before calling the OPD doctor. However, the doctor never bothered to check my mom in person; he just spoke to the nurse on the phone and instructed her to get an X-ray. This was at 4:40 in the morning when one would expect proper emergency care. To make matters worse, the billing was outrageous. We were charged Rs.600 for hospital fees despite the doctor not examining my mom, plus an extra Rs.300 for OPD services. Paying so much for such inadequate service is completely unacceptable. Overall, the lack of attention, unprofessionalism, and unreasonable fees made this a very negative experience. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend Lakeside Hospital.

This is the worst hospital in Kandy. We chose it simply because it was close to our home. The staff are extremely incompetent and unprofessional. It seems the doctors are only interested in making money. The rooms are very dirty. The health ministry should really consider shutting this hospital down. Stay away from this place at all costs!

Following a few weeks in Sri Lanka with swollen, itchy feet and legs, compounded by the war and a flight cancellation, I opted for local help. I was seen by a doctor in just 15 minutes. The diagnosis was excellent, and the thorough examination was completely professional. I'm really grateful to everyone involved.

The venue is lovely, featuring historic buildings and ample parking. It has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a wide range of medical services offered, but one issue is that the owners seem to be stuck in traditional ways of thinking. Overall, the service is good and there are plenty of facilities for various medical needs.
