    Fantastic gym with supportive atmosphere

    I signed up at this gym a few weeks ago, and I'm already seeing impressive results, both physically and mentally! Lakrani, my trainer, has such a positive attitude and brings a lot of motivating energy to each session. She makes every workout enjoyable, encouraging, and genuinely effective. The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and has a very inviting vibe. I'm really happy I made the choice to join! I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a supportive and inspiring fitness environment.

    Welcoming atmosphere for training

    The staff at Resistance Gym were incredibly friendly, creating a positive environment for workouts. They have a wide range of functional training equipment, including sandbags, sleds, and free weights. A day pass for 2,500 is a reasonable price.

    Good gym but frustrating rules

    The gym is priced at 1500 Rupees before 15:00 and 2500 Rupees after that. It has a decent range of equipment and tends to be less crowded during peak hours. If I were to rate it solely on that, it would easily deserve 5 stars. However, I can only give it 2 stars due to a couple of issues: 1. The process to sign up for a day pass was overly bureaucratic, requiring personal information, a passport, and a photo, which took about 20 minutes and felt unnecessary. 2. I was not allowed to squat in my socks; the gym insisted I needed proper shoes. After visiting over 50 gyms, this was a first for me, and since I only had running shoes while traveling, I couldn't do my usual leg exercises. The staff explained that everyone needs to follow the rules, but it was frustrating.

    Great gym for travelers

    This is a cozy little gym that's ideal for a day pass when you're on the road. I paid 2500 LKR (7€) for access. They have all the essentials, including a treadmill, free weights, and bands. The owner was very friendly and welcoming too. One area for improvement would be to provide something to clean the equipment after use, as it can get quite sweaty!
