    Disappointing Membership Experience

    I want to share my frustrating experience with Zeus Gymnasium. In 2025, I signed up for an annual membership package at the gym and paid the full amount as required. However, a few months later, when I inquired about the expiry date of my membership at the front desk, I was told that there were no records of my membership in their system. I reached out to the manager to resolve this issue, but rather than helping me, he has been dodging my questions and failing to provide any clear answers or solutions. This whole situation has brought me a lot of inconvenience and disappointment. I expected better transparency, accurate record-keeping, and accountable customer service from a fitness establishment, which I unfortunately did not receive. I hope the management will take responsibility and address these kinds of issues to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar problems.

    Fantastic Colombo Gym Experience

    Great gym with a lively atmosphere

    This gym is a solid choice for a workout. It's fully air-conditioned and has upbeat music playing consistently. However, a few pieces of equipment could use minor repairs, like knobs, screws, and straps. Overall, it has a youthful vibe that’s quite appealing.

    Disappointing experience at Zeus Gym

    I was really let down by my time at Zeus Gym. The manager, Deshan, moved my personal bag—which contained valuable items—without informing me. I spent quite a while searching for it, only to discover he had relocated it on his own, without my consent. When I expressed my concerns, instead of addressing the issue, management decided to cancel both my husband's and my memberships. After over 1.5 years of training there and even creating a promotional video for them at no cost, this was incredibly disheartening. Taking a member's personal belongings without permission and then canceling memberships for simply voicing a concern reflects a serious lack of professionalism and care for customers.

    Good gym but lighting issue

    As a tourist staying in Sri Lanka for a short time due to the war, I've recently had the chance to work out at this gym. Overall, the equipment is quite comprehensive, and the quality of the gym-goers is impressive, creating a positive environment for exercising. However, I have noticed a significant issue: every day, the staff turns off the lights in the aerobic area at least ten minutes early. It's not just one person responsible for this. The gym lacks natural light, and even when women are still working out on the treadmills, the lights are switched off abruptly. I approached the staff with a suggestion, but they informed me that it was almost closing time. I believe that even if it's nearing closing, they could take the time to clean the machines or organize the small fitness items instead. It would be much safer to turn off the lights only after all members have exited, or at least provide a heads-up before doing so. I'm genuinely concerned that in such darkness, a woman on a treadmill could easily fall, which would be both dangerous and unprofessional. In my view, the staff's overall professionalism does not align with the high standards of the gym members and requires improvement.
