Disappointing and Dishonest Experience

I had a really bad experience at this shop. The mother and daughter both misled me as a customer. I initially visited the mother’s store, located right next to the daughter’s optician business, where I dropped off two sarees for jacket stitching. When I presented the sarees, she quoted a price of 4,000 for one jacket, stating that since it was for a wedding, the total for both sarees would be around 10,000, including the underskirt. For the second jacket, she agreed on a price of 3,500. I made sure to mention that I needed everything completed by the 25th, and I provided the sarees about a week and a half in advance. On the 24th, I returned to check on the status. She assured me that it would be ready the next day and promised to call me. After paying the remaining 7,000, I thought everything was settled. However, while I was on my way to pick up my son, she called to inform me that there wasn't enough saree fabric to make the jacket. Why didn’t she mention this when I first brought them in? I went back to get my saree and requested a refund, but she claimed she had already given the money to her daughter. I told her I would return on the 25th before 11:30 AM to pick up the other jacket. When I arrived, she said she needed more time. I came back around 12:40 PM, finally received the jacket, but then she asked for additional payment, saying she couldn’t honor the original price of 3,500. Why do people resort to this kind of behavior just for money? If someone has funds, why take advantage of them? This entire experience was incredibly disappointing and felt very dishonest.
