I had an amazing time at Uncle Kim Korean Ramen. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was quick and polite. The food was top-notch-everything was fresh and delicious. The Cheese Ramen and Tteobokki - so good! Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back.... 😊

I’ve been here about three times, and the first two visits were fantastic, even though the place tends to be crowded. The experience was definitely worth it, and the add-ons were impressive. The noodle prices are quite reasonable in comparison. However, I’m hesitant to return after noticing some changes since those initial visits. Now, the cooking is done in cups rather than pans, which I feel alters the flavor of the noodles and leaves a slight paper taste. The dumplings, however, remain outstanding as ever. On the service front, the staff is friendly and accommodating. One downside is the use of paper cups; we have to pay Rs. 180 for the cup used to make the noodles. If we want to take any leftovers home, we need to buy another cup for Rs. 120. This policy wasn't in place during my previous visits, making it seem wasteful and unnecessary. If the goal is to avoid giving away lids for free, I’d prefer they charge for that instead of needing a whole new cup. Overall, my experience was just okay, and the negative aspects of my last visit have left me reluctant to return. If you decide to go, I recommend asking for your noodles to be cooked in pans instead of cups for a better experience.

I recently dined at Uncle Kim Korean Restaurant for a quick meal, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. We arrived around 8:30 PM on a weekday, and the lack of crowds made the evening even more enjoyable. They have about 20 ramen varieties available, along with an extensive selection of toppings. My favorite dish was the chicken dumplings! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they walked us through the process of customizing our ramen and allowed us to prepare it ourselves, which added a fun, engaging element to the dining experience. The prices were fair, and the restaurant was very clean. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

I stopped by this place for lunch on a Friday around 1pm with a friend after discovering it on Google Maps. Upon entering, I realized that their system was quite different. The staff were friendly and eager to explain the process to us. First, we selected our ramen and toppings, then paid and headed to the cooking counter. The instructions were clearly displayed on the wall in English, making it easy to follow. Once we cooked our ramen, we were able to enjoy it. They even have a photobooth station, which was a fun touch.

I loved the ramen here! There are so many options to choose from. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The guy at the counter assisted me in picking the perfect ramen. Another staff member prepared it for me. You can also add sausage, egg, cheese, or any seafood for an extra charge. It was peaceful during my visit, and the restaurant was clean. Just a heads up, they do charge for the ramen bowl whether you eat in or take it away. They also sell Korean chips and some fizzy drinks. I was really impressed with both the food and the service. I’ll definitely return! 🥰💯

Overall, it was a fantastic experience! You get to pick your own items and cook them yourself by following the instructions provided, which adds a fun and interactive element to the meal. The staff were very accommodating, and the establishment was clean and well-kept. While the prices are somewhat on the higher end, the quality and the overall experience justify it. Just a heads up, disposable cups come with an extra charge. Even though we went on a weekday, it was still fairly busy—clearly, this place is popular! Fortunately, there is ample parking available, which is a real plus.

I had an excellent visit to Uncle Kim Korean Ramen! 🍜✨ The food was tasty, fresh, and well-priced. I really enjoyed the unique concept of selecting my own ingredients and making the meal myself. The staff were welcoming, the restaurant was tidy, and the entire experience was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend it!

We had dinner at Uncle Kim today, and it was a fantastic time. Their self-service noodle concept is quite different for Sri Lanka, making the dining experience more interactive and enjoyable. You can customize everything to your liking, from the noodles and flavors to the toppings, add-ons, and drinks. The staff are very accommodating and assist you throughout the cooking process, ensuring your noodles turn out just right. For two people, we chose three different noodle flavors, two jumbo sausages, and two chicken dumplings, totaling about Rs. 3,400, which is excellent value. We also enjoyed the fun of using chopsticks, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The food was tasty, the concept was unique, and the atmosphere was delightful. If you're in search of a distinctive dining experience where you can tailor your meal exactly how you want it, I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely worth a visit!

I had a solid experience overall. The staff was particularly friendly. The process of cooking my meal was enjoyable and simpler than I had anticipated, thanks to the programmed cookers with pre-set menus. All you need to do is press a button, and you're good to go. I ordered the Rabokki, which was decent but not outstanding. The Milky Soda by BR is excellent and pairs well with the ramen. There's plenty of parking available, and it wasn't crowded in the morning. I do wish there were more options on the menu since most of the ramen items are available at other restaurants too. As for the prices, if you decide to enhance your dish with extras like sausages and cheese, it can get pricey, so it's wise to choose carefully.

This place gives me strong memories of 7/11 in Korea. I really appreciate the atmosphere and the cleanliness here. I highly recommend it, although I do wish they accepted Apple Pay!
