Disappointing Pasta Experience

As a long-time supporter of this store, I am really let down. I ordered my regular Pasta, but it was clear that quality control was lacking. The pasta was extremely undercooked, bordering on raw, which made the whole dish inedible. This is a basic mistake. I count on you for consistency, and this significant error has left me hesitant about coming back. Please improve your kitchen standards.

Flavorful and Worth the Price

Absolutely delicious! The flavors are perfectly balanced. Definitely worth the cost. I highly recommend it. However, I noticed there wasn't any space for dining in or parking.

Disappointing Nasi Experience

I've ordered nasi from Solo Bowl in Kiribathgoda about four to five times now. The first time I tried it, I loved it, which made it my top choice for takeout without hesitation. However, my last two experiences have been incredibly disappointing. In both orders, I discovered egg shells in nearly every bite, which is really off-putting. Today, I placed another order and even included a note asking them to be more careful this time. To my surprise, I still found two pieces of egg shells in my meal. I'm extremely let down and disgusted, especially after mentioning it directly. I completely lost my appetite, ended up vomiting, and still feel unwell. It's crucial to be careful with food preparation. I spent over Rs. 3,000 only to have to throw the meal away. I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Tasty Chicken Dishes

The chicken nasi was quite enjoyable. It wasn’t flawless, but it had a great flavor. The Chicken Bowl was also tasty, though the portion was on the smaller side, it was sufficient. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

I was truly impressed with Solo Bowl Kiribathgoda. This is a takeaway-only establishment, but the food is genuinely good, and there's a lovely selection available. I appreciate that you can find completely different styles of cuisine all in one spot, and the bowls are presented beautifully as well. The flavors are well-balanced, the food tastes fresh, and the portion sizes are quite satisfying. Their menu offers everything from fried rice bowls to Thai and Chinese options, so there's something to please just about everyone.

Disappointing Portion for High Price

I was really let down by my order. I spent LKR 1,600 on the Express Grilled Chicken Salad Bowl (520 kcal), and the portion I got was incredibly small. It contained just a few pieces of grilled chicken along with some lettuce, cucumber, and carrots. Given the price, I expected something much more filling and satisfying. I get that healthy food can be pricier, but the serving size doesn’t warrant the cost. With taxes and other fees, it feels way too expensive. While the quality wasn’t bad, the value for money was lacking. I really hope the management considers either increasing the portion size or lowering the price, because as it stands, I wouldn’t order this again. I also urge others to check the portion size before they order and assess if they believe it’s worth the cost. Am I the only one who finds this unreasonable for LKR 1,600? I’d like to hear if other customers think this portion size is a good value for the price.
