Charming stay with a cozy atmosphere

This place truly surpassed what we expected. We showed up on a chilly evening and discovered a very inviting interior. They even lit a fire for us and served tea. We enjoyed a delightful night by the fire. The room was nicely furnished, and the rain shower was fantastic. It's a hidden gem that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Charming Boutique Hotel Experience

We spent a night here while traveling south and it was a delightful stop due to the cooler climate, offering us a unique glimpse of Sri Lanka. This area is famous for its tea and is often referred to as Little England. The hotel itself was charming, tidy, and felt very welcoming, with the staff going above and beyond to assist us. Breakfast was also excellent. I highly recommend this place for its comfort and cleanliness—what you see in the photos is exactly what you get. A wonderful boutique hotel.

Misleading Amenities and Noisy Stay

This stay really fell short of what we expected. The images on Booking.com are deceptive: they suggest there's a restaurant and high tea options, but when we arrived, everything was closed. For $120 per night (with no cancellation option), we were left with just a basic breakfast. While the rooms seemed clean at first, the noise was a significant issue; we could hear everything our neighbors were up to. After spending three weeks traveling across Sri Lanka in this price range, this was our most disappointing experience. I cannot recommend it.

Fantastic stay at Tathya Hill

Our stay at Tathya Hill was wonderful! The location is stunning, and the food and service were excellent. The interior decor is beautiful, and the outdoor gardens are well-maintained. Every staff member was friendly, and we enjoyed spacious accommodations. With five of us, we had our own living area and dining/kitchen space with three rooms. The food was delicious, and we were fortunate to meet the chef as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Lovely stay in a convenient location

I enjoyed two wonderful nights at this beautiful property. It's situated in a highly convenient area near Nuwara Eliya town, making it a quick drive to major attractions such as Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, and various restaurants. The rooms are perfectly sized and feel well integrated with the common spaces. The beautifully landscaped garden is a great spot for enjoying a cup of tea. The staff is very friendly and attentive to our needs. The Sri Lankan cuisine is fantastic, and I highly recommend this place for couples or larger groups of friends and family. The interiors are super clean, cozy, and provide comfortable, personalized service. We will definitely choose to stay here again on future visits.

Wonderful Stay at Tathya Hills

We had a fantastic four-night experience at Tathya Hills. The location was stunning, set in a beautiful area with a tranquil vibe. The food was consistently great during our visit, but what really stood out was the incredible staff — always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A special shoutout to Amila for going the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended, and we'd love to return!
