Amazing First Surfing Experience!

I had an incredible surfing experience in the ocean atmosphere. As a complete beginner, I opted for a private instructor. I attended three classes with Baba (Vinura), who first guided me on how to stand and balance on the board, and then taught me how to paddle and catch waves independently. I gained so much knowledge in such a brief time. Now, I feel much more confident and ready to ride more waves on my own in the ocean. You all are going to have a blast! Come join us!

Great First Surfing Lesson

I reached out to them for my initial surfing lesson and I was really pleased with the entire experience. The friendly instructor, Malli Baba, provided clear explanations, and I noticed improvements right from the first lesson, which made me quite happy.

Arrogant service ruins experience

I stopped by and borrowed a board for 20 minutes on my own. I paid the guy what he asked, which was 1000 plus a 15% tip. He was incredibly arrogant and mocked my small tip, saying, "I’m a lucky guy now I can buy ice cream" in a sarcastic way. That was all the money I had, and I paid what he requested. It’s clear he doesn’t understand that his attitude can impact reviews and, ultimately, his business and tips.

Fantastic First Surfing Experience

We reached out to this school for surfing lessons, and as first-timers, we had an amazing experience. They brought us to a beginner-friendly beach with shallow waters and gentle waves. The instructors first explained and demonstrated everything on shore before we got in the water. They provided clear explanations and were incredibly supportive throughout the process. We definitely recommend them.

Fantastic First Surf Lesson

I took my first surf lesson with Malli Baba, and it was a great experience. We started with an introduction on the beach and some dry-land exercises, where he helped me with my posture and offered helpful tips. I received a surf t-shirt, and then we headed into the water. He was very friendly throughout the session, attentive to my needs, and explained everything clearly regarding what I should do and when. I had a truly positive experience and would definitely book another session with him.

Avoid this rental shop

I cannot recommend this place at all. We simply wanted to rent a board for an hour, but what we got was a broken one with a horrible surface. My friend ended up with serious injuries and burns. Another rental shop verified that the board we were given was of very poor quality and shouldn't have been rented out in that state. We returned after only 30 minutes, planning to pay for half an hour instead. When we confronted the staff about why they provided us with such a board, the 'boss' reacted aggressively and insisted we pay for the entire hour, telling us to stop talking nonsense. Additionally, it was clear that everyone there was under the influence. Overall, we definitely cannot recommend this place, no matter what you need it for.

Fantastic teaching at Ocean Vibes

I highly recommend the team at Ocean Vibes. As a beginner, I started with an introduction on the beach. Then, they assisted me in the water, guiding me step by step on how to enhance my skills. The atmosphere was fantastic, and Malli Baba provided excellent instruction. I will definitely return. Thanks, everyone!
