Worth the hype

The signature pepper crab was unreal — perfectly cracked shells and a sauce that clings to every piece. Service was attentive without hovering. Pricey, yes, but a special-occasion standby for good reason.

One of the best meals I've had in Colombo. The garlic chili crab and the kade bread are a killer combination. Be sure to book ahead — they're always full.

Great food, long wait

Food absolutely lives up to the reputation, particularly the chili crab. Lost a star because our reservation wasn't ready and we waited 30 minutes at the bar. Staff apologised and comped us drinks, which was nice.

Dutch Hospital setting adds so much charm. Crab curry was the winner at our table. The kitchen is open so you can watch the cooks work.

Good, not great value

No complaints about the quality of the food. But at LKR 8k+ per crab, I expected the sides to be more generous. Service was friendly.
