Dining at Elita was a standout experience during our trip to Sri Lanka, and it might just be the finest meal we've had here. The fish they serve is very fresh, and their curries are incredibly tasty. Don't miss the turmeric garlic rice—it's a must-try. We really loved this hidden gem in Galle Fort. Highly recommend it!

This quaint, rustic spot has a unique, beachy vibe, although it feels a bit shabby. During the evenings in March and April, it can get quite uncomfortable as the fans don't provide enough relief from the heat and humidity. The prices are moderate, falling somewhere between cheap and expensive.

I got the fried calamari, but they didn't seem fried at all. I'm not sure what they actually were, but they definitely weren't fried. They were also prepared really quickly, which raises concerns about their freshness and overall quality. The flavor was just okay.
