Really Dissappinted experience with Dr. Charith and Ninewells
My mother came for eye lens surgery with Dr. Charith Fonseka. We were asked to come sharp at 11:00 AM, so we made sure to be there on time. Unfortunately, the entire experience was very disappointing. We ended up waiting until 7:00 PM before we could finally leave the hospital. The whole day was wasted just sitting around waiting with almost no communication about what was happening or why there were such long delays. Surgery was done properly. The experience felt more like a government hospital than a private hospital. There was very poor coordination between the doctor and staff, and everything seemed disorganized. If patients are asked to arrive at a specific time, the hospital should respect their time instead of making them spend the entire day there. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. Better planning, communication, and coordination are seriously needed. I expected much better from the doctor and ninewells private hospital and was left very disappointed.
