Racist/Sexually disrespectful
I had a very disappointing consultation with Dr. Asela Amarasiri. The most concerning part of my experience was during the ultrasound examination. Throughout the scan, he rested his elbow on my thigh for an extended period. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and no explanation was given or consideration shown for my personal space. He also appeared unwilling to consider what I was saying, and came across as dismissive and very rigid in his views rather than engaging in a proper discussion. The last time my mother consulted him his comments towards Muslims were inappropriate asking why she needed to consult when she has her "God". Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard, disrespected, and uncomfortable. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this doctor, especially to women who value respectful communication and feeling safe during intimate examinations.
