Fantastic gym with a positive vibe

This gym is fantastic, offering a great overall vibe. The equipment is modern, new, and very well maintained, which helps make workouts smooth and effective. Fantastic Gym with Cozy Atmosphere

As soon as you step inside, the warm and cozy atmosphere gives off great vibes. They even have some kettlebells! The bathroom facilities are clean and well-maintained. If you're looking for a place to work out in Kohuwala, this is a great gym to consider.

Nostalgic gym with service issues

Since 2015, I've made Body by Kris my first stop whenever I come back from abroad, even if it's just for a few weeks. This gym holds a lot of nostalgia for me. The facility itself is quite good: it's tidy, the equipment is well-kept, and the vibe is both pleasant and motivating. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff often don't seem very welcoming, and at times, they can come off as a bit unfriendly. Improving their training in customer service would really elevate the overall experience. I share this purely as a suggestion for improvement, as the gym has significant potential and boasts a dedicated community.

Poor management and high prices

This gym suffers from awful management, with the only exception being Buddika, who stays out of the dishonest practices aimed at customers. They keep raising their prices without any enhancements to the equipment, utilities, or anything else. When I inquired about using a card for a day pass, the front desk worker failed to mention the additional 5% charge. Although the gym feels cozy, it’s overly packed with too much stuff and an unnecessary shop that nobody buys from. If you’re considering this gym, I would advise against it. I was a member for two years and have never felt better than when I switched to another gym that offers even more for nearly the same price as this overpriced place.

BBK Gym: A Renewed Experience

I’ve been a member of BBK since 2015, and even though I haven't been consistent over the years, this gym has always felt like a welcoming place to return to. This year, I decided to take my fitness journey seriously and renewed my membership, and I’m really pleased I did because the gym has seen significant improvements. BBK now has a cozy atmosphere with a pleasant workout environment, and it’s encouraging to see the ongoing upgrades to the equipment. The biggest change for me came after Jude became the manager. The gym is now more organized, disciplined, and well-kept compared to a few years ago when it had started to decline. There’s a much better vibe now, thanks to both the staff and the members. I also highly recommend Jude for personal training, especially in the mornings. He knows how to effectively balance workouts and achieves real results, based on my personal experience. Overall, BBK has transformed into a place I truly enjoy again, and I’m happy to recommend it.
