Ethical and Memorable Whale Watching

We had an amazing time with Mirissa Water Sports. Everything was well-organized and professional, but what really impressed me was their ethical and respectful approach during the trip. We were fortunate enough to spot two whales, a Bryde whale and a Fin whale (mother and baby), along with a group of dolphins, which was truly remarkable. I appreciated that the crew didn't chase or crowd the animals. They maintained a safe distance, allowing us to observe them in a natural setting, which made the experience feel much more special and responsible. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about both the guests and the marine life. It never felt rushed or commercialized. I would highly recommend them if you're seeking a whale watching experience that is both memorable and ethically conducted. I would definitely return! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Amazing Private Boat Trip Experience

We enjoyed a fantastic private boat trip. We encountered Spinner and Risso dolphins, and the highlight was definitely spotting a Fin Whale. The captain and first mate shared our excitement since they hadn’t seen any whales for the past three days. The Fin Whale is quite rare, making our experience even more memorable. We appreciate your professionalism and kindness, and the complimentary breakfast while we sped over the water was a lot of fun and required a bit of skill!

Great whale watching experience

We were thrilled with our choice for whale watching. The highlight of our trip was witnessing so much marine life, and it was clear the captain had deep respect for the whales and dolphins. He made sure to position the boat so that they swam by us, unlike some other boats that were recklessly driving into the pods. On our way back to the harbor, a crew member shared fascinating details about each species we encountered. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Amazing Day with Mirissa Water Sports

Our experience with Mirissa Water Sports Company was truly incredible! We boarded the boat around 6:30, and the scenery was breathtaking at that hour. We encountered spinner dolphins swimming alongside us, and one of the guys on our boat whistled, which surprisingly seemed to attract them! We spotted them three times, which was definitely the highlight of the trip. In addition, we spotted a whale in the distance—well, we actually just saw the whale's ‘white blow’. There were several boats trailing the whale, but I appreciated that they eventually left it alone, adhering to the regulations regarding how long boats can follow. The whale breached once, but unfortunately, I missed it as I was looking elsewhere, though I did see the big splash! Before we set off, they provided us with sea sickness pills, and shortly after departing, we were given sandwiches and a large bowl of delicious fruit on the return trip. We felt very well cared for. We also got to see flying fish, which was pretty neat. I would highly recommend this company!
