The staff were friendly, but I wouldn't return or endorse this type of tourism. There were around 10-15 large boats (holding 200-300 people) all pursuing a single pod of dolphins. The air was filled with diesel fumes and there was pollution in the water. Unfortunately, there were no whales sighted during my visit—just good fortune for the whales!

This was a waste of both time and money. It should really be called dolphin watching instead of whale watching. After spending nearly four hours on the boat, we only caught a brief glimpse of a whale's tail. Once we saw that tail (or whatever part of a large fish it was), the boat turned back to the harbor. The experience was nothing like what was advertised. You need a lot of luck and plenty of time to see anything worthwhile.

The service was outstanding, and the staff were very accommodating. While the tour was enjoyable, it felt a bit excessive in duration. Six hours proved to be too long; four hours would have sufficed. It was surprisingly exhausting, particularly with a 6:00 AM start. We did spot two whales and numerous dolphins, though.
