The team is really friendly, and the equipment is in great condition. They offer two dive sites that range from 5 to 25 meters, just a short boat ride away. You have a good chance of spotting various fish and sea turtles, and maybe even whales. However, even though there's a sign indicating they accept credit cards, they actually only take cash.

My first diving adventure with Weligama Bay Dive Center was such a thrill! 🌊 The team was extremely friendly, supportive, and professional, which made me feel secure and confident while diving. We encountered turtles and stunning fish - it was just incredible! This experience was genuinely unforgettable. I highly recommend Weligama Bay Dive Center for an amazing dive experience!

During my vacation in Sri Lanka, specifically in Weligama, I had an unfortunate incident while paddling on a board towards a small island in the bay. My phone was resting on the board, attached to a bright yellow float to keep it from sinking. However, at some point, I realized that my phone was missing. The float wasn’t able to support its weight, and the phone sank to the bottom along with it. The phone held significant value to me, so I was determined to retrieve it. Initially, I searched on my own, but the water was quite deep, and the phone vanished quickly. I reached out to various nearby diving centers, but no one was willing to assist me. Only this diving center responded and showed genuine concern for my predicament. After two days since the phone sank, I teamed up with the divers, and we set out on their boat to search the open ocean. To my astonishment — and the captain's too — the diving center team managed to find my phone! I’m incredibly thankful to the entire team for their kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism. They truly embody a team with a big heart and are masters of their craft.

My daughter went diving, and I was really impressed by the coach's professionalism, patience, and support. She had a fantastic time and enjoyed spotting numerous beautiful fish. I highly recommend this for families with kids.
