I went scuba diving with Island Scuba in Mount Lavinia, and it was an excellent and safe experience. The team was friendly and very supportive, providing clear explanations before our dive. The equipment was in great condition, making me feel secure underwater. The shipwreck sights were impressive, and overall, it was an unforgettable adventure. What an amazing experience! We explored massive shipwrecks both inside and out, making it one of the most intense diving experiences I've had. At the two dive sites, we encountered plenty of large fish, rays, and even octopuses. The team was quick and very helpful throughout the trip.

Our experience with Island Scuba in Colombo was fantastic! The team was not only professional but also very friendly and well-organized. This is an outstanding dive club. The team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and prioritizes safety. They offer many wreck dives at manageable depths, showcasing a great variety. Plus, they communicate in French. It's an ideal place for exploring Sri Lanka's underwater treasures.

I had an excellent experience both leading up to and during my double dive. They were very prompt in answering all my questions via email in the weeks leading up to the trip, and on the day of the dive, they were laid-back and explained everything in detail. The dive at the Thermopylae Sierra was amazing. I was fortunate to enjoy calm, warm waters and visibility of over 10 meters. Although I’m only open water certified, the wreck descends to around 22 meters, and I managed to practice my neutral buoyancy at 18 meters. The pace was easygoing, and I always felt secure, with the guide regularly checking in on both me and my buddy. I highly recommend this, and I'm planning to return tomorrow.

This dive shop is impressively professional. Diving typically kicks off around 8 AM with two dives each day. Colombo is renowned for its wreck diving, and the sites are conveniently close. During the surface interval, they provide snacks and fruits. The cost is USD 110 for a full day of two dives, and they also offer Nitrox.

The entire program was comprehensive, covering how to clean and maintain my gear, dive safely, and navigate underwater.
