    Fantastic Sculpt & Strength Class

    Ariana’s Sculpt & Strength class is fantastic! I’m feeling sore (but in a good way). She brings wonderful energy and great playlists, plus she pays close attention to everyone’s form. Ariana ensures that all participants are challenged while also pacing themselves to prevent injuries. I’ll definitely return for more of her classes!

    Disorganized and Ineffective Class Experience

    I attended the "Strength and Sculpt" class here for the second time, having previously tried "Spring Sculpt," and I won't be returning. The class began about five minutes late because we were "waiting for a couple of people," yet it still ended on time, which cut into the actual workout. There was minimal guidance provided regarding the equipment. We were instructed to grab heavy weights and then immediately had to hold them overhead during side planks and perform arm lifts. I followed the instructions, but the weight I selected turned out to be unsuitable and unsafe for those movements. Additionally, it seemed like there were no weights lighter than 7 lbs, making the class less accessible for exercises that needed more control. The programming felt quite chaotic. There were too many props involved—blocks, bands, springs, a Pilates ball, and weights. At one point, we were asked to do backward somersaults while holding weights, which seemed unsafe and out of place for a strength class. Overall, the spring work felt more uncomfortable than effective. Due to the multitude of props used, a significant portion of class time was wasted on switching equipment—moving blocks, adjusting springs, and putting bands on and off—rather than focusing on actual workouts. I believe the exercises would have been much more effective with half as much equipment. Is it really necessary to attach springs to our legs for a crunch (using a Pilates ball)? With all these factors, the late start, and the mantras at the beginning and end of class, it felt like we only had about 25 minutes of real strength training. Clearly, I wasn't the intended audience for this class, but having taken various "strength" and "sculpt" classes before, this one felt disorganized, ineffective, and at times, unsafe.

    Fantastic Training Experience with Lily

    Lily was our instructor during the training session, and she was fantastic! She explained the movements clearly, brought humor into the class, and kept us inspired throughout. I'm looking forward to seeing her again at this studio!

    Great workout but mixed class experience

    Ken’s Pilates offers an incredible and demanding workout, and I've been attending for a few months now. I absolutely enjoy the energy, especially from Ken and Venus. However, there was one class where Ken was replaced by Matthew, and my friend and I felt as if we were being reprimanded during the session. Although he wasn't actually yelling, his demeanor came off as annoyed rather than enthusiastic, which really disappointed us. Since then, I haven't returned, as we were quite upset; it's unfortunate because we love the overall vibe there in addition to the great workouts. P.S. We're still fans of Ken’s Pilates and plan to return soon. 🫶
