I highly recommend the one-hour full body massage! The woman who performed it clearly had a wealth of experience. It couldn't have been better!

Our visit to Mango Ayurveda Centre was fantastic, as we enjoyed a full body massage therapy together as a family, including our child. The therapists were incredibly professional, gentle, and attentive, ensuring that everyone, especially our kid, felt fully comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere was peaceful and soothing, and the care we received was genuinely personalized. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and truly cared for. I highly recommend this place for families seeking authentic and safe Ayurvedic therapy. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Kandy again.

I experienced an amazing full-body massage that left me feeling rejuvenated after a long tutuk ride. They use fragrant oils that leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. The masseurs are not only skilled but also very friendly.

We visited Suwa Asapuwa Spa for massages, booking three appointments simultaneously. The owner was quick to respond via message and managed to secure us an appointment for that evening. Just ten minutes before our session, I received the address, which turned out to be at the Mango Spa, as the two had merged. My husband and I were placed in a shared room for our massages. Unfortunately, the facilities felt outdated, and the massage tables were quite uncomfortable. There was no face hole for when lying face down, nor a small cushion to support our knees when lying on our backs. We had booked three one-hour full-body massages. My masseuse began with my legs, while my husband's therapist arrived shortly after, introducing himself and asking about any pain he had and his preferences for the massage. He was very professional, starting seated with the head, shoulders, and back before moving to the table. He was attentive and focused throughout. Meanwhile, my therapist seemed robotic in her movements, lacking energy and response to my needs. I had tight calves from climbing Adam's Peak two days before and Sigiriya that morning, but she merely applied oil without addressing my discomfort. I requested more pressure on my back several times, and only briefly did I feel a slight increase before she shifted focus. She spent little time on my back, head, and shoulders, which were my most tense areas. When we transitioned to my back, things worsened as she continued to concentrate on my legs. My back ached, and I found it difficult to get comfortable; a towel under my knees would have helped. When she moved to my arms, I had to bend my knees and ask for breaks. At no point did I feel relaxed or able to enjoy the massage; instead, I was just impatiently waiting for it to end. At one point, my husband’s masseur noticed my discomfort and suggested I find someone else. In summary, this was the worst massage experience I've ever had, leaving me feeling even more tense and sore. However, my husband and father-in-law had a completely different experience, describing it as the best massage in Sri Lanka. Ultimately, the experience seems to depend heavily on the masseur's skill, so I would recommend requesting a male therapist, as not all seem to have the same level of expertise—my husband, an electrician, gives me far better massages.

We visited Suwa Asapuwa Spa for a massage and booked for three people simultaneously. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiries and managed to set us up for an appointment that very evening. Just ten minutes before our session, he sent me the address, which turned out to be at Mango Spa due to their merger. Although he arrived a bit late, it was fine since we were waiting for the third person, who would see the therapist 30 minutes after my husband and I. He even offered my father-in-law some tea while he waited. My husband and I went into a shared room for our massages. The place felt a bit worn down, and the massage tables weren't very comfortable. There was no hole for your face when lying on your back. We had booked three full one-hour massages. My masseuse began with my legs, while my husband’s therapist introduced himself, asked about his aches, and started with a seated head and shoulder massage before moving him to the table. He seemed very professional and attentive. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The woman working on me repeated her motions without much enthusiasm or responsiveness. I had sore calves from climbing Adam’s Peak and Sigiriya earlier, but she treated my legs as if nothing was wrong. I asked her multiple times to apply more pressure on my back, but only felt a slight improvement briefly. She spent minimal time on my back, head, and shoulders, which are my most tense areas. When we switched to my back, it got worse as she concentrated on my legs instead. I was in pain trying to find a comfortable position, and she didn’t help by offering a towel under my knees to ease the discomfort. I started bending my knees and asking for breaks, and eventually, my husband’s therapist checked on me and suggested we get another ointment. In summary, this was the worst massage experience I've ever had. I left feeling more tense and in pain, while my husband and father-in-law found it to be the best massage in Sri Lanka. The quality of the service appears to depend heavily on the individual masseur, so I would recommend requesting male therapists as some clearly need more training. My husband, who is an electrician, gives better massages than I received here.
