Unfortunately, I have to say this hotel feels quite outdated and isn't very elderly-friendly. I can't honestly rate it as a four-star establishment as we were led to believe; I would give it a three-star rating instead. Aside from the fantastic view and the clean white towels, I'm really quite disappointed.

Randholle Hotel and Spa is genuinely one of the finest places to stay! The rooms are quite spacious and cozy, making it ideal for a relaxing escape. It’s also great for families, as kids can stay for free, which is a significant advantage. The staff are welcoming, accommodating, and always willing to help with a smile. Breakfast was superb with a nice selection, and the pool area was impeccably clean and well-kept. The highlight of the visit was the stunning sunset view in the evening – truly unforgettable! I highly recommend it for families, couples, or anyone seeking a tranquil and memorable experience.

I recently spent two nights at this hotel and had an incredible experience. The food was very good, with all meals served as a buffet that was quite delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was very helpful. Most importantly, the view and climate were simply mesmerizing ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is my second visit to this hotel 🥰🥰 I highly recommend it for a perfect vacation.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The sunrise and the views from the property were truly breathtaking. The infinity pool was a standout feature—relaxing there with such a beautiful backdrop was an unforgettable experience. The play area was excellent for families, providing safe and enjoyable entertainment for the kids. The staff were courteous and accommodating, making us feel very much at home. The food was delicious with a nice variety to choose from. All in all, it was a memorable stay, and I highly recommend this place.

The service was excellent, and the lobby was inviting. The rooms were nice, and the view from both the pool and the balcony was stunning. I particularly liked the plunge pool. The bathroom featured a new Swiss brand toilet and basin, although the rest of it seemed a bit aged. The food at the restaurant was good, with both buffet breakfast and dinner options. I would definitely return and spend more time enjoying the view from the balcony.

Kandy is a fantastic destination, and we definitely plan to return to Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, our experience at Mount Randholee Resorts and Spa was quite strange. After a long day touring Sri Lanka with Voyage Prive, we were pleased to find out that our booking had been upgraded to a double suite. A lovely staff member escorted us to our room, and we enjoyed chatting about cricket and marathon running. However, we were taken aback to discover that we wouldn’t be in the main hotel but in a different building on the property, which was essentially a construction site still in progress, with tools and debris scattered about while workers were present behind a daunting curtain. Even more unsettling was the sight of used mattresses piled outside our room, evoking a horror film vibe. After a tiring day, we were eager to freshen up before dinner, but our plans were derailed by a leak in the bathroom, with unpleasant waste oozing from the shower drain. While a maintenance worker attempted to fix the issue, I went back to the lobby to inform the same porter who had greeted us, asking if there was another bathroom we could use. At this point, the porter, who had been so charming upon our arrival, seemed completely confused and unable to assist. Another staff member downplayed the situation without offering an apology, claiming it would be sorted in '15 minutes.' However, after 45 minutes, we were told the issue was resolved, only for the leak to return when we ran the tap. It was nearing 11pm, so I requested for the mess to be cleaned but asked to be left alone, deciding to avoid the bathroom for the night. The following morning, I attempted to use the gym treadmill for a run, only to find it malfunctioning as well. I reported this to a staff member who said maintenance would come, but no one arrived for an hour. The only highlight of this disappointing stay was the beautiful view during breakfast from the main building, but sadly, it’s not enough to make me want to return.
