Our stay was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade that we hadn't even requested. The gardens were lovely and the rooms were impeccably clean. Dulanjali and Mujanidh were particularly attentive and assisted us with all the details of our stay. We truly appreciate the relaxing experience here.

The building is stunning, featuring high ceilings and attractive interior design. The food is tasty, and the location is convenient. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, with exceptional service from Dinithi! :)

This hotel has potential but is in urgent need of some updates. We stayed in two rooms that unfortunately had a musty smell, and the bathrooms were not cleaned as thoroughly as they should have been. We had reserved our rooms through booking.com and were under the impression we could add breakfast for $10 at the hotel. However, this turned out to be incorrect, and the hotel staff were unhelpful when we presented our booking confirmation. While the breakfast issue wasn't a major concern for us, the lack of assistance from the staff was a letdown. On a positive note, the hotel is centrally located with many great restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly and did their best to resolve issues when we raised them.

This hotel boasts a grand colonial style, filled with charm and a rich history. While I've noticed some reviews criticizing its age, I personally find that the old-world feel is beautiful and unique! If it were renovated to fit a modern style, it would lose its character and become like any other generic place.

This place is absolutely breathtaking, featuring a massive compound rich in history! They have a walking tour that delves into the past, but sadly, it was canceled due to insufficient sign-ups. If you're seeking a colonial-style experience, this is a fantastic option.

Kandy Hotel Suisse offers a simple hotel room (430) even with a "premium" holiday package from Intrepid. The small windows provide a nice view, but it's just of a wall three feet away. The cups were mismatched and dirty, while the glasses felt sticky and had fingerprints all over them.

Hotel Suisse in Kandy is a real treasure. Its location is ideal — merely a quick stroll to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and with stunning views of Kandy Lake. It's wonderfully situated near the city's center while still being surrounded by tranquility.
