    Disappointing wedding makeup experience

    Linthuja completely messed up my wife’s makeup on our wedding day, despite us booking her months in advance and communicating clearly. She was unprofessional and insensitive, leaving my wife feeling stressed and waiting outside on such an important day. Not only did she fail to provide the promised services, but she also rushed through the makeup and ignored our family’s needs. There was no support from her as she focused on taking a picture for her Instagram post.

    Disappointing Bridal Experience

    My experience with Linthuja Bridal for my wedding and reception was extremely disappointing. The level of quality, professionalism, and attention to detail fell far short of what one would expect on such a significant day. • The hairstyle was poorly done, with uneven braids, and the accessories (Suryan and Chandran) were not secured properly. I would rate the hairstyle as a zero! • There were numerous issues with the makeup, including poorly shaped eyebrows, dissatisfaction with the eyeliner, and mascara which was only applied after I reminded her—something a professional makeup artist should do without needing prompting. • My mother’s agreed-upon makeup and hair were also executed poorly. Her hairstyle looked terrible, and she eventually left the room saying she felt unwell. • She arrived late to the mandapam; I was left waiting for a long time for my touch-up, but she showed up late, which meant there was no time for it despite having over 30 minutes to spare. Everything was rushed, and she didn’t have an assistant, which she should seriously consider for future events. • My reception hairstyle appeared artificial and lacked any natural elegance. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and these shortcomings affected not only my day but my mother’s as well. This has been the worst experience I’ve had with a bridal service, and I truly regret choosing Linthuja Bridal. I strongly recommend that future brides take this feedback into account before making their decision.

    Exceptional Makeup Artist for Weddings

    Linthu akka was my makeup artist for my wedding, and I had her for three events. She gave her all in each one, making me feel like the most beautiful bride. She ensured I was comfortable, well-hydrated, and well-fed throughout the events, which shows she genuinely cares for her brides, almost like a sister. Her work was incredible. If you want subtle makeup that allows you to look like yourself on your special day, she is the one to hire. 💯 My makeup remained flawless until the end of all the events. Even during the Mehendi, when I was sweating from dancing, we took photos afterwards and it didn't smudge at all. She arrived on time, actually coming early to help with my wedding dress, and stayed with me to keep me energized and at ease. She was more than just a makeup artist; she felt like family. 🩷🧿

    I had an excellent experience with Linthuja during my sister’s wedding. She did an incredible job with the makeup; it was flawless, elegant, and lasted all day and night. My sister looked gorgeous, and the makeup also photographed beautifully. In addition to her skill, Linthuja was very friendly, calm, and professional, which made everything feel comfortable and stress-free on such a significant day.     Disappointing Bridal Makeup Experience

    I honestly can't recommend Linthuja Bridal. The quality of work doesn’t justify the high prices. I spent a lot for just two looks, but the makeup and hairstyle felt very basic, more like what a guest would wear rather than bridal looks. My photographer even scolded me for choosing her without consulting him first, as he mentioned her makeup doesn’t photograph well. Initially, I thought my experience was unique, but after checking Google reviews, I found many others shared the same disappointment. She’s heavily promoted on social media, and a lot of young people are drawn to her because of that. If your wedding day is important to you, don’t book her without doing your homework. It seems like she invests more effort into clients who pay more, especially foreign ones. Don’t be fooled by her Instagram photos and videos; there are plenty of underrated makeup artists who can do a much better job. One positive is that she is very pleasant to talk to, which can be deceiving since the results don’t live up to expectations. Relying on her same old jewelry and basic nude makeup won’t make your special day memorable. I hope my review helps others make a more informed choice. Thank you.

As someone who can be quite particular, I bombarded her with messages about hairstyle inspirations and specific makeup ideas, and she responded to each one with so much understanding. She even helped me manage my budget concerns with some really helpful suggestions. On the day of the engagement, she made the session a lot of fun—we chatted the whole time while she maintained her focus. Everyone praised how natural and beautiful my look turned out!
