Disappointing event venue maintenance
I reserved Wickrama Bunglow for an event three months ahead of time. Two weeks prior, I visited the site and specifically requested the owner to trim the grass and remove the old coconuts from the trees. He assured me that it would all be handled. Yet, when I showed up the day before the event, nothing had been done. The grass was over a foot high, and the trees were still laden with old coconuts. It was only after I inquired again that they sent someone, and even then, the grass was only cut halfway. The interior was dusty, and the outside wasn’t cleaned either. If you decide to book this venue, be ready to do some cleaning yourself. Given the amount paid, the upkeep and cleaning were not up to par.
