    Disappointing Experience with Dark Room Photography

    Last year, we had our pre-shoot with the dark room photography team and invested a substantial amount of money, hoping for a professional service. We were told to arrive at Colombo Port City around 5:30 a.m. to start our shoot on the yacht. While a few team members showed up, we ended up waiting several hours for the owner to arrive, and the shoot only started once he got there. By then, the sunlight was too harsh, negatively impacting the quality of the photos taken on the yacht. Even the yacht staff remarked that they had never seen a shoot conducted so late in the morning with such strong sunlight. We chose this package specifically because we were promised the owner would lead the shoot, but he only captured a handful of photos, leaving most of the work to assistants who appeared disorganized and inexperienced. There was a noticeable absence of accountability and time management from the team. When we finally received the photos, many were poorly edited, with some showing the photographers’ hands and lacking basic editing. Overall, it seemed like customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this service to others.
