Exceptional Wedding Photography Experience

I first met Geeshan Bandara during a mutual project in 2019, and since then, I’ve been following his work on social media, constantly impressed by how he captures not just images but also emotions. When it was time to select a photographer for our wedding, I felt overwhelmed by the numerous recommendations from friends and family. There are many talented photographers in Sri Lanka today, but I needed someone who could do more than just take "nice" photos. As a designer, I meticulously curated every detail of our wedding—from the outfits and décor themes to the invitations and souvenirs. Our entire celebration revolved around the theme of Reflections, which is very meaningful to us. I needed a photographer who could grasp that creative vision and enhance it visually. Geeshan was the only one who came to mind. He didn't just meet our expectations; he surpassed them entirely. What impressed me most was the distinctiveness of his captures. Geeshan has a unique ability to apply classic photography techniques—like composition, lighting, and timing—and turn them into something profoundly artistic and personal. Each frame he provided felt intentional, original, and emotionally charged. He reflected our theme not only in obvious ways but also wove it subtly and powerfully into each shot, going beyond the very idea of Reflections in ways I couldn’t have envisioned. Additionally, he was incredibly easy to collaborate with. Both Akila and I are not naturally photogenic, nor do we enjoy being the center of attention. However, Geeshan put us completely at ease. He took the time to understand us, allowed us to be ourselves, and never forced a moment—yet he captured everything with warmth, artistry, and precision. From fleeting glances and soft laughter to heartfelt embraces, every frame tells a story. His work is pure storytelling through still images, and we couldn’t be more thankful that he was the one behind the camera. If you want a photographer who brings heart, creativity, emotional insight, and a truly artistic perspective—Geeshan is the one. Choosing him to capture our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.

I've known Geeshan uncle since I was a child, and he has always had a unique artistic perspective, which remains true to this day. His photographs consistently tell a story. As I flipped through my wedding pictures, it felt like I was reliving the day again; they weren't just staged, but captured genuine moments that brought back all the raw emotions.
