I had a fantastic experience with the food here! Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty and fresh. You can truly appreciate the quality and authentic flavors in each dish. The service was also excellent—very friendly and attentive staff, much like other Sri Lankan restaurants. They really excel at taking care of their customers and ensuring you feel at ease.

We set out to find a Chinese restaurant in Colombo, but didn't realize it was part of a so-called '5-star' hotel complex. Honestly, while the food was decent, it wasn't enough to make up for the restaurant's flaws. The lighting was incredibly dim, making it feel like we were dining in a cave, despite the lovely weather outside. On a positive note, the staff were quite helpful, which was a relief, given that the prices were inflated due to the lack of displayed costs that included government taxes. Although this is technically allowed with a small note on the menu, the staff conveniently failed to mention it. It's disappointing to see such a cheap tactic in Sri Lanka; it reflects poorly on management. Overall, the restaurant feels quite dated, much like its clientele. If you prefer a place that embraces modernity and transparency, I suggest looking elsewhere. I’m giving it 2 stars for a supposed 5-star establishment.

I had dinner at Long Feng, and I can honestly say the food exceeded my expectations. The large egg fried rice we ordered was said to serve four, but it could easily feed over six. We also tried the black pepper chicken and hot butter cuttlefish, and both were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing good recommendations. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at Long Feng. The only downside was that the lighting was a bit dim, but that might be the ambiance they aim for.

The fish just isn't fresh, which is disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber to serve such low-quality ingredients. Additionally, the tofu had a sour flavor that left me unsure if it was spoiled or simply fermented. From my past dining experiences, I've never encountered this particular dish made with sour tofu.
