Disappointing Massage Experience
As someone who enjoys massages, I'm fine with less upscale places. I specifically requested a medium pressure massage since deep tissue often leaves me bruised, which I don't enjoy. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the massage therapist, who barely massaged me and mostly just glided her hands over my body. After about 15 minutes, she asked if the pressure was alright, and I kindly suggested a bit more pressure would be appreciated. Instead of adjusting, she left and the manager came in with a price menu, trying to upsell me while I was lying almost naked on the table. This totally ruined the relaxing vibe of the massage. I originally booked for 90 minutes but wanted to leave after 30. When I finally expressed my dissatisfaction and said I preferred to go, the therapist seemed really upset, which made me uncomfortable, yet I stayed. Eventually, she did massage me more thoroughly and even applied hard pressure, leaving me questioning whether I was being unfair as well. I just wanted to unwind, not feel pressured.
